The Slovenian capital offers its residents and visitors 60 minutes of free-of-charge internet access.

Ljubljana city centre has been equipped with access points for the WiFreeLjubljana broadband wireless network, enabling you 60 minutes of free internet access via a modern portable communication device (laptop, smart phone, tablet PC or PDA).

The wireless broadband network in the Central Slovenian Region project, via which the people of Ljubljana have acquired a new wireless broadband network for internet access and an hour’s free access to the web is the result of a successful public-private partnership between the City of Ljubljana and Telekom Slovenije, d.d., and is the basis of Ljubljana as a digital city.

With a WiFree code, which you receive upon registration, you can use the network free for up to 60 minutes a day. In addition to an hour’s free daily access to the web, via WiFreeLjubljana it is possible to visit the websites of the City of Ljubljana and its partner companies Telekom and Nil free of charge 24 hours a day.

Payable access is also available to use the network for 24 hours, seven days or 30 days.
